Introdunction
A stainless steel pipe reducer fitting is a butt weld stainless steel reducer used to connect pipes of different diameters in a piping system. As an industrial stainless steel reducer with corrosion resistant stainless steel reducer properties, it is available in seamless stainless steel reducer construction (or welded). Two primary configurations are offered: concentric stainless steel reducer (for vertical or gravity flow lines where centerline alignment is critical) and eccentric stainless steel reducer (for horizontal piping to maintain a flat bottom or top, avoiding air or liquid accumulation). Manufactured to ASTM A403 and ASME B16.9, these reducers are supplied as concentric pipe reducer stainless steel or eccentric pipe reducer stainless steel in various material grades (304, 316L, duplex, etc.).

(1)Pipeline – Stainless steel reducer for pipeline transmission systems connects different diameter pipe sections, enabling flow control and pressure management with concentric or eccentric options to suit terrain and flow conditions.
(2)Oil and gas – Stainless steel reducer for oil and gas facilities (wellheads, manifold stations, metering skids) provides smooth diameter transitions, with eccentric reducers preferred for horizontal gas/liquid separation to prevent liquid slugging.
(3)Chemical industry – Stainless steel reducer for chemical industry (reactor inlet/outlet, storage tank connections, blending lines) handles corrosive media, with seamless construction eliminating weld seam attack points.
