Introduction
A stainless steel rectangular hollow section (also stainless steel square hollow section or stainless steel structural hollow section) is a corrosion resistant stainless steel hollow section manufactured as welded stainless steel hollow section or seamless. Three primary configurations are offered: square hollow section stainless steel (SHS), rectangular hollow section stainless steel (RHS), and round hollow section stainless steel (circular tube). Available in standard grades including 304 stainless steel hollow section, 316 stainless steel hollow section, 316L stainless steel box section, and duplex stainless steel hollow section, these sections provide high torsional rigidity, uniform strength in all directions, and a clean, aesthetic appearance.
Applications
(1)Construction – Stainless steel hollow section for building scaffolding, handrails, balustrades, and architectural facades combines high strength with corrosion resistance, eliminating painting and reducing long‑term maintenance.
(2)Structural support – Stainless steel SHS and RHS beams for machinery frames, equipment supports, and conveyor stands offer excellent load‑bearing capacity and weldability, with 316L grade for chemical plant or coastal exposure.
