Introduction

S2507 super duplex stainless steel pipe (also super duplex 2507 seamless pipe or super duplex 2507 welded pipe) is a S2507 high strength stainless steel pipe with a balanced austenite‑ferrite microstructure and high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content. As a S2507 corrosion resistant stainless steel pipe, it delivers excellent pitting resistance, crevice corrosion resistance, and outstanding chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance – far surpassing 316L and even 2205 duplex. Manufactured to ASTM A790 S2507 duplex stainless steel pipe (seamless), ASTM A928 S2507 welded pipe, UNS S32750 stainless steel pipe, EN 1.4410 super duplex stainless steel pipe, and JIS SUS329J4L stainless steel pipe, this super duplex stainless steel pipe for severe environment provides approximately twice the yield strength of standard austenitic grades while maintaining good weldability and toughness from -50°C to 300°C.
