Introduction

253MA high temperature stainless steel (also 253MA oxidation resistant stainless steel253MA austenitic stainless steel253MA heat resistant steel plate) is a creep-strengthened austenitic alloy designed for continuous high temperature service up to 1150°C. As a 253MA high strength stainless steel at elevated temperature, it offers excellent oxidation resistance and superior creep strength compared to standard 310S or 309S grades. The addition of rare earth elements (cerium, lanthanum) significantly improves scale adhesion and spallation resistance. This 253MA stainless steel rare earth alloy is the preferred 253MA stainless steel for high temperature applications where reliability and long service life are critical.

Applications
