Introductions
N08810 alloy, also known as Incoloy 800H, Alloy 800H is a solid solution high-strength austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing carbon, aluminum, titanium, silicon, manganese and a limited amount (Al+Ti), Chemistry The composition is similar to Alloy 800. The difference from Alloy 800 is that after special solution treatment (grain size ≥ 90µm/ASTM No. 4), the tensile strength of Alloy 800H is significantly improved above 600°C.

Advantages
(1) Heat treatment and mechanical properties: N08810 alloy is usually subjected to solution heat treatment to optimize its microstructure and mechanical properties. This treatment helps to balance the elements in the alloy, ensuring good creep resistance and tensile strength at high temperatures. In addition, this alloy has good fatigue resistance and fracture resistance at high temperatures.
(2) Corrosion resistance: The higher nickel content of N08810 gives it good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in aqueous corrosion conditions. The high chromium content gives it better resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good corrosion resistance to nitric acid and organic acids, but limited corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. In addition to the possibility of pitting corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. It also has good corrosion resistance in water, steam, and mixtures of steam, air, and carbon dioxide.
(3) Process ability: N08810 has a face-centered cubic lattice structure. The extremely low carbon content and increased Ti:C ratio increase the stability of the structure and maximize resistance to sensitization and intergranular corrosion. Low temperature annealing at around 950°C ensures a fine grain structure.
Applications
(1) N08810 alloy is widely used in fields requiring high temperature stability and corrosion resistance, such as chemical, petrochemical, power and heat treatment industries. In these fields, it is often used to manufacture heat exchangers, furnace tubes, burner parts and other high temperature equipment.
(2) Due to its high strength and resistance to carburization and nitridation during long-term operation, 800H/800HT alloy can be used in many occasions, such as spiral tubes, straight tubes, steam headers, manifolds, transmission pipelines, catalyst tubes (low pressure) and condensation system pipelines in steam/hydrocarbon reforming processes.
