We recently completed production and delivered a batch of ASTM A312 stainless steel pipe in SS310S material, ideal for high-temperature applications such as furnace tubes, petrochemical heaters, and heat treatment equipment.

Dimensions: 168mm OD × 14mm WT × 6000mm length, manufactured by cold drawing with solution annealing and pickling.

Before shipment, our QC department conducted a joint inspection with the customer. Below are the key inspection highlights.

Dimensional Accuracy – Actual Measured Data

Outer diameter: 168.15mm (within ±0.5% tolerance)

                                            Wall thickness: 14.36mm                            Length: precisely 6000mm fixed length

All measurements comply with ASTM A312 stainless steel pipe requirements.

Surface Condition – Solution Annealed & Pickled

The product is delivered in solution annealed and pickled condition, with a clean, oxide-free surface. This process eliminates cold drawing stress and restores high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance.Clean, oxide-free surface after pickling

Material Verification – Positive Material Identification (PMI)

During the joint inspection, we also performed on-site Positive Material Identification (PMI) using a handheld spectrometer to verify chemical composition. The test confirmed that the material fully meets TP310S requirements under ASTM A312 standard.
