This special order covers 400 kg of precision nickel alloy strip with dimension of 0.15 mm thickness × 240 mm width, manufactured to ASTM B575 specifications. Beyond tight dimensional tolerances, the customer set a challenging mechanical requirement: elongation ≥45% for the ultra‑thin finished strip.

Project Background & Technical Challenges

Previously,overseas customer purchased Alloy 59 strip from us, and expressed high satisfaction with product quality and project support. For this repeat order, the client requiring higher elongation performance on the same 0.15 mm thin gauge.

Alloy 59 (UNS N06059 / W.Nr.2.4605) is a premium nickel‑chromium‑molybdenum alloy known for outstanding corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. Producing ultra‑thin strip at 0.15 mm while retaining high ductility (elongation ≥45%) poses major manufacturing difficulty: rolling control, grain‑structure adjustment and precision heat‑treatment must be tightly coordinated across the full production workflow, from raw‑material inspection, cold rolling, solution annealing through to final quality verification.

Upon receiving the order, our production team and material engineers held technical reviews and cross‑referenced ASTM B575 standards to define process targeting the high‑elongation objective. Every step was monitored to balance thin‑gauge dimensional accuracy and ductility performance.

Quality Verification & Shipment Arrangement

After order finished production, we arranged do internal inspection and arrange PMI test for chemical composition, the result showing as below, after compare with standard chemical value and it is totally winthin  standard request ,meanwhile, we couriered two samples were sent to an independent third‑party laboratory for full mechanical testing, including tensile strength, yield strength and elongation tests. Test reports showing as following pics, Which fully satisfy ASTM B575 Nickel Alloy Plate requirements.

Customer said their project urgent for these material and to shorten lead‑time for the overseas project, we arranged Alloy 59 thin strip was shipped by air on 13th,Auguest to ICN,S.Korea this to ensure timely arrival for tight delivery schedules.

Production challenage

Producing ultra-thin nickel alloy strip include precise thickness control and high elongation performance requires careful control,this throughout the full manufacturing process. From raw material selection and rolling to heat treatment and final inspection, every production step must be carefully managed,all these steps to ensure the materialcould delivery properly. Beacuse summer hot weather, factroy have shaft working time, even though this hard working environment, our work keep to work and make sure the goods deliver in time.

After strict production and quality control, the Alloy 59 strip successfully achieved the required performance. This successful delivery once again demonstrates our ability to supply super nickel alloy materials according to customized requirements, including special dimensions and demanding mechanical properties.
